I handed in my dissertation 2 days ago. There's still some chance that the graduate school will call me and yell at me about margin sizes and watermarks all running the same direction. But my committee has signed off, and I'm done.I don't really believe it yet, but I'm hoping that telling you will make me believe it a little more.
I do still need to think about it - I'm giving a talk at a conference soon over part of it, and my slides need more pruning. But I don't hate it as much as I could at this point.
(Those are the books that have accumulated next to my desk and needed to stay there until it was done. The binder is full of papers that I referenced.)
